GARDEN SCAPES at Picton Castle
Last year i have the privilege in exhibiting my seascapes at the Castle and during the event I started to paint the gardens. I loved the large structural planting of the gunnera and the tropical feel of the hidden paths and vistas. A number of paintings were started in situ and finished back in my garden studio. Work on a whole new body of work has been very liberating for me. I am a big fan of Graham Sutherland and I am honoured to be exhibiting in his Gallery.
Chepstow Arts Festival
I will be one of the Gazebo artists exhibiting in the South Monmouthshire’s Town of Chepstow. The Day is going to be a busy day of Art Music and much more. I will be taking along a selection of paintings both large and small of Sea and Hills. I Look forward in meeting you all.
Court Cupboard Gallery. Abergavenny
I will be Exhibiting some of my most recent Paintings of the hills and mountains around Abergavenny.
I love the use of colour and try to create atmosphere with contrasts of marks textures and colours. These are made with Salt and Ink an experimental process which allow me to create layers of textures and build the depth of colour.
